School Phone Guide allows users to enter student and parent contact information, such as student names, class information, school numbers, parent names, phone numbers, optional email addresses, and optional photos.

2. Local storage

The core school directory is stored locally on your device. The app is designed so that parent and student contact data can be kept separate from your personal phonebook.

3. Caller identification and voice announcements

If you enable incoming call identification, the app may compare incoming phone numbers with the parent numbers stored in your local school directory. When a match is found, the app may show a notification and, if enabled, use Text-to-Speech to announce who is calling.

The app does not upload, sell, or share your call history. Sensitive phone-related permissions are used only for declared caller identification functionality.

4. SMS, phone, and communication actions

The app may allow you to open phone, SMS, or email actions for saved parent contacts. Where possible, these actions are performed through system apps, and the user remains in control of sending messages or placing calls.

5. Voice commands and Text-to-Speech

School Phone Guide may provide optional voice commands and spoken responses. Speech recognition and Text-to-Speech availability may depend on the device, operating system, installed services, language support, and permissions granted by the user.

6. Backup and restore

The app may provide local backup and optional Google Drive backup or restore functionality. Google Drive backup is used only when the user chooses to sign in and perform backup or restore actions.

7. Advertising and Pro purchase

The free version of the app may display ads. The Pro version may remove ads and unlock additional features such as unlimited contacts, unlimited caller announcements, and voice commands. Purchases are handled through Google Play billing.

8. Permissions
